For the past several years Icon Event Solutions has produced the end of year celebrations for CISRA. Many themes and styles have being explored and executed and 2007 presented it’s own challenges. Our client wanted to break from small networking groups of ten so we transformed Doltone House in Pyrmont into a sea of long, regal tables complemented by a massive dance floor to ensure when the time came everyone could enjoy the moment together.

A highlight of the evening was the performance by Raymond Crowe, Australia's only unusualist. Raymond offered a captivating combination of visual comedy, ventriloquism, shadow puppetry and magic in a spellbinding performance that left the entire room mesmerized and thoroughly entertained.

Icon Event Solutions took our client through an extensive pre-production process involving all stakeholders including the Christmas Party Committee, venue representatives and our event team. In developing every aspect of the event as fit for the guest demographic and ultimate utilization of the venue environment; site visits, production meetings and menu tasting’s incorporated our long term knowledge of our clients needs and portrayed the desired outcomes of this years celebration.

An exemplary culinary experience was paramount to CISRA and the venue, layout and menus were selected to deliver on this platform. Guests arrived to the balcony abuzz with drinks and canapés overlooking our magnificent harbour. Event hostesses greeted each guest personally to recognise their presence at this Gala event.

The event flowed seamlessly through the dining experience punctuated by performances and prize giving to drive home the importance of this rewarding evening. As the plates cleared and the dance floor swelled the year past was celebrated by all present with Jelly Bean Jam rocking the room for the rest of the evening.
